Blue Ridge Contra Dancers and Tryon Downtown Development Association (TDDA) invites all dancers, experienced or not, to the next dance at historic Sunnydale log cabin on the afternoon of Sunday, Dec. 9. The Blue Ridge Rounders will provide live Celtic and bluegrass music, along with popular Asheville caller, Diane Silver.

Contra dances are family friendly and attract people of all ages. Because this is a group dance, no partner is required, and instruction will be provided. A beginners dance workshop will be held at 3:30 p.m., with dancing from 4-6:30 p.m.

A newly refinished wood floor, fireplace and log beam ceiling provide a great atmosphere for a late fall afternoon of dancing.
