To the editor:

I attended the Beerfest this past weekend in Tryon and was absolutely delighted.

Even though I am not much of a beer drinker, I enjoyed the samples provided by the local vendors. The food was great and the oompah band was magnificent.

If you missed the fest, you missed a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Thanks to the organizers for providing this entertainment in Tryon. I plan on attending next year.
