McGarity acquires Richardson dental practice in Landrum

Dr. Newman C. McGarity of Spartanburg County recently announced his acquisition of the dental practice of Dr. Byron Richardson in Landrum.

Dr. Richardson, who has practiced dentistry at the 1000 E. Rutherford Street location for 32 years, has stepped down.
Dr. McGarity has practiced more than 15 years in the upstate, most recently in Union, S.C. After a brief time practicing in Bluffton, S.C., Dr. McGarity is returning to the upstate, which he said he considers home. He said he looks forward to being back with some of his old patients, as well as the opportunity to meet the patients of the Landrum community.

His office will provide a comprehensive scope of dental services and is committed to incorporating the latest techniques in dental imaging, services, practice organization and record maintenance in the office. He said he is looking forward to implementing these enhancements and believes patients will appreciate the expanded care they provide.
