There aren’t any lost causes

Published 11:04am Friday, June 1, 2012

I’d be a fool to believe I could save them all, but I’ve learned that many can  be saved simply because the attempt was made.
Tryon Estates was gracious enough to allow me to bring sweet Jewel to my fund raiser and she stole the hearts of all who attended.  Three times she was deemed a lost cause and now is in a loving home with proper care. She fills our world with joy.
Kanisha and Katrina, two of the three Am-Staff pups that were abandoned at the Hospice Barn, have been adopted together.  They are now residing with a loving family who have two young boys and DK, a magnificent Mastiff that they adore.  I could not save them all but I do not consider the sister that was lost a lost cause because the attempt was made.
