Landrum High School boys track team hosts 5k fundraiser Dec. 17

On Saturday, Dec. 17, the Landrum High School boys track team will host the “Christmas of Champions” 5K Race at Landrum High School.
The race will serve as a team fundraiser to assist the school’s  2011 state championship track team in purchasing their state championship rings.
The race begins on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 11 a.m. The run will start and finish in the Landrum High School football stadium. Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female runners (open  and masters), as well as the top male and female runners in each of the following age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and over.
The cost of entry before Dec. 10 includes a T-shirt. After Dec. 10, entry fees rise and will include no T-shirt. Race day entry will be accepted.
All early registration money and forms are due to Coach Darby, not postmarked but actually received, by Saturday, Dec. 10. Online entry is available at www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?event_id=1997673.
