PCHS band awarded grant from the Tryon Rotary Club

PCHSBandGrantPCCFWEB

The dream of replacing the 20-year-old band uniforms is getting closer and closer for the Polk County High School band thanks to many organizations in Polk County. One such organization is the Tryon Rotary Club that gave a grant to the PCHS band for $5,000 for the purchase of new uniforms. The band started raising money about a year ago in order to have the new uniforms by September 2016. The total of the new uniforms is around $50,000 for 100 uniforms. (Submitted by Cindy Gilbert)
