Polk County Sheriff’s Office report for February 2016
During the month of February 2016, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 639 calls for service.
There were 17 felony arrests, 25 misdemeanor arrests, 19 citations issued, 100 civil papers served and 18 criminal papers served.
Officers completed 1,169 house checks, 2,902 business checks, 1,467 church checks, assisted the public 25 times and patrolled 28,208 miles.
The Polk County Jail booked a total of 85 inmates, including 64 males and 21 females.
