Enjoy a reduced price at Pearson’s Falls this weekend!

In honor of St. Valentine’s Day, admission to Pearson’s Falls will be two for the price of one all weekend Feb. 13 and 14. For example, two adult tickets will be the price of one, two children’s tickets ages 6-12 will be the price of one. And children under six are always free.

The weather will be sunny and cool this weekend and it will be a great time for an easy hike up the ¼-mile trail to the spectacular 90-foot waterfall. Come out with your sweetheart or bring your whole family and experience the beauty of Pearson’s Falls in the winter. Pearson’s Falls is open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Sunday. The gate closes at 4:15 p.m.

Because Hwy. 176 N. from Tryon to Saluda is closed due to a mud and rock slide there are two alternate routes to get there. Drive to Saluda on I-26 West and take the Saluda exit. Turn left on Ozone Drive and drive toward Saluda. At the intersection of Ozone Dr. and Hwy. 176 you can turn left. Follow 176 S. down the mountain about three miles. Follow the signs to Pearson’s Falls.

Or, at the intersection of Hwy. 176 and Ozone Dr. you can turn right toward Saluda. Watch on the left side of the road for Pearson’s Falls Rd. which is across from the school. Turn left onto this road and follow it down to 2748 Pearson’s Falls Rd. Pearson’s Falls entrance will be on the right.

For those interested in the Tryon Garden Club, please write to P.O. Box 245, Tryon, NC 28782. For more information contact the gatekeeper at Pearson’s Falls, 828-749-3031 or pearsonsfallsinfo@gmail.com. Our website address is www.pearsonsfalls.org.
