General registration opened Jan. 4 for all three of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Bike MS events here in the Carolinas. Last year, more than 3,300 people rode in a Bike MS event, raising more than $3 million right here in our backyard. In 2016, it is our goal to have more than 4,000 riders and more than $3.3 million raised.

We offer three very different and exciting event options: Historic New Bern Ride in beautiful New Bern, N.C. on Sept. 10-11, (bikemsnewbern.org); Tour to Tanglewood Ride in the wine country of Clemmons, N.C. on Sept 17-18, (bikemstanglewood.org); and our Breakaway to the Beach Ride in scenic Sunset Beach, N.C. on Oct. 8-9,  (breakawaytothebeach.org).

In 2015, Bike MS nationally raised more than $83 million through 100 rides across the country and with more than 100,000 people cycling in one of our events. Bike MS is the fifth largest peer-to-peer fundraising campaign in the country. Your participation will drive MS research forward faster and deliver programs and services to those who face the challenges of MS every day.
