Exciting new children’s events at Landrum Library

Starting in the New Year we will have a “crafternoon” the first Tuesday of every month at 3:30 p.m. The first Tuesday Crafternoon will be on Jan. 5 at 3:30 p.m. and we will use a Spirograph to make cool patterns and designs.

On Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 5:30 p.m. we will show the movie “Minions.” Snacks will be provided. The running time of the movie is 91 minutes and it is rated PG.

Also starting in January we will have a monthly Lego Build for kids and tweens. Every fourth Tuesday of the month we will have a new challenge and the best kid’s and tween’s creation will be displayed until the next challenge. Everyone who attends will get to vote. The first Lego Build will be held on Jan. 26 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. The challenge this month will be to build the animal of your choice.

Our fourth Thursday homeschool program will be held on Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. We will complete a library scavenger hunt. The program is intended to help familiarize kids with the library and help them learn how to find what they need.
