Girl Scout sells 1,100 boxes of cookies

Girl Scout StorieLane Whiteside

StorieLane Whiteside, daughter of Joey and Olivia Whiteside of Lynn, and fourth grader at Tryon Elementary, is a junior in Troop 124 of Polk County. This year she sold the most cookies in Polk County at 1,100 boxes — within 200 boxes of her mother’s long-standing county record of 1,300 boxes. In addition to the prizes she earned, the sales helped her raise “cookie dough” to attend Girl Scout camp. She would like to thank everyone who bought cookies this year and hopes to beat her mom’s goal next year! (Submitted by Olivia Pleasants)
