The February meeting of the Foothills Music Club, Inc. took place at the home of Mimi Child Traxler on Thursday, Feb. 11, at 2:30. Following the meeting the musical program consisted of instrumental and vocal selections from movies and Broadway including Rodgers & Hammerstein, Lerner & Loewe and Stephen Sondheim.

One was overheard quipping, “What a mellow afternoon!” after which another replied, “Indeed, and I really needed it!”

You are invited to attend the next FMC Concert on March 10, 3 p.m. at the Tryon Presbyterian Church, which will feature some of our local organists and the FMC Vocal Ensemble.
