Carolina Keglers bowl for fun and exercise

The Carolina Keglers is a very low-key fun league for women and men over 50 who want a little recreation and a little exercise. The emphasis is on fun, not competition. Bowlers are placed on a new team each week. Stats are kept for individuals, not for teams.

They bowl on Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. at Autumn Lanes in Forest City, N.C.

Here are some highlights of the bowling on Wednesday, Jan. 6.

High games over average:

Cindy Lohr +83 = 219

Jim Patterson +51 = 179

Ken Williams +44 = 175
