FENCE presents family concert with Blue Haze Blue Grass

Foothills Equestrian Nature Center is excited to welcome the local band, Blue Haze Blue Grass, to the great room at FENCE on Sun., April 17, at 4 p.m. Join us for this wonderful free community event. Don’t forget to stick around after the concert to mingle with the band and snack on refreshments.

 

Like the haze on the mountains after a spring rain, wood smoke from a mountain cabin or the deep glow of sunlight through ice crystals on the mountain hemlocks, Blue Haze will wrap you in an emotional blanket of song and deliver renditions of contemporary and traditional bluegrass that will bring images of mountain life to mind.

 

Three-part harmonies with guitar, mandolin and banjo leads will dance your mind through memories of lost love, family, hard times and mountain beauty. Come experience the Blue Haze sound with Robert Hall on bass, Lance Smith on rhythm and vocals, Jim Walker on mandolin and vocals and Philip Jenkins on banjo and vocals.
