The Polk County 4-H and Youth Foundation board members are hard at work as the

calendar has turned to a new year. The mission of the foundation is to provide and manage financial resources used to develop and deliver quality 4-H youth programs throughout Polk County. 4-H programs empower young people to develop life skills that will serve them throughout their youth and adulthood. Whether through public speaking, sewing, animal husbandry, or developing leadership skills serving on the 4-H Teen Council, youth in Polk County have many worthwhile opportunities made possible by the work of the foundation board.
