TRYON—Hob Nob, a new pop-up store that opened at 94 N. Trade St. on November 29, will be open to the public through December 22. It offers a unique array of art, decor, gifts, and personalized interior design services.
Founded by close friends Tara Brannon, Jeanna Kell, and Caroline Young, Hob Nob combines their diverse skill sets to create an inviting atmosphere for shoppers looking for distinctive pieces to enhance their homes.
Brannon, an experienced interior designer, adds a professional eye for style and function, while Kell contributes her expertise as an event coordinator and planner. Young, a talented artist, showcases her work, which often features abstract interpretations of landscapes.
“We all three bring something special to the shop,” Young said. “We all have different points of view and work well together to create a combined vision.”
The trio has cultivated a mission to support small businesses and provide unique items sourced from around the world. Their collection includes pieces from local artisans, as well as imports from England and Spain.
“We want to offer options that shoppers can’t easily find elsewhere, especially compared to larger retailers like Amazon,” shared Brannon.
The pop-up store is designed to be a treasure trove for anyone seeking dynamic, beautiful interiors, offering holiday gifts and stylish decor. “We’re in acquisition mode, trying to gauge what people are drawn to,” continued Brannon. “We love curating beautiful things that add character to living spaces.”
As the pop-up store continues to grow, it invites the public to visit, engage, and discover something special in the heart of Tryon. Hob Nob is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. and is closed on Tuesday.
