Landrum drilled 16 3-pointers Friday, its sizzling shooting from the field helping power a 113-57 victory over Polk County in Landrum.
The Wolverines (1-5) kept pace with the Cardinals (3-0) for a quarter, trailing just 26-24 at the end of the opening stanza. Aaron Jackson had 12 of his team-high 20 points in the quarter to help Polk County stay close.
But Landrum upped the pace in the second quarter, hitting six threes as part of a 35-point period that led to a 61-34 halftime edge. The Cardinals nearly matched that in the third quarter, with 34 points and four threes, in building a 95-45 lead entering the final eight minutes.
Khristian Littlejohn finished with 10 points for Polk, with Dallas Littlejohn adding eight. David Duffy had six points, with Ja Gary scoring four.
Nate Fagan and Jayce Edwards each scored three points, with Luke Garrison adding two and Wyatt Highsmith scoring one.
Polk County kicks off its Mountain Foothills 7 Conference schedule on Tuesday, hosting Patton.
