East Henderson’s Brewer brothers once again delivered too much firepower for Polk County.

Caiden Brewer scored 28 points and Jaylin Brewer added 14 Wednesday to lead the undefeated Eagles to a 74-45 victory over the Wolverines in Flat Rock.

East Henderson (5-0) completed a season sweep of Polk (1-4) thanks in large part to a 20-6 run in the third quarter, that surge fueled by Caiden Brewer’s 11 points. Polk trailed by just 11 at the half before the third-period spurt firmly tipped the game in East’s favor.

Gunnar Alm led Polk County with 16 points, with Khristian Littlejohn adding 10. Aaron Jackson finished with seven points, while Dallas Littlejohn scored six.

Jayce Edwards and Ja Gary each added two points for Polk, which will return to action Friday at Landrum.
