John Wilson Condrey, 79, of Greer, SC, passed away Friday, November 8, 2024, at his home. A native of Polk County, he was the son of the late Defoix Wilson and Helen Mayo Barnette Condrey. John was a supervisor at several knitting companies and also worked at Earley’s Heating and Air.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Shonda “Gina” Bright (Donnie); son Brian Wilson Condrey; grandchildren Kyle Bright {Lindsey} Spencer Bright, Morgan Condrey, Brian Condrey Jr.; grandchildren Emma Wells, Kendell Allen, Tucker Bright, Braylon Allen; sister Judy Smith and John’s companion Laurie White.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Green Creek Baptist Church with Chaplain Mike Thomas, Rev. Brinton Easley, and Rev. Peter Surran officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Military honors will be provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
