COLUMBUS—On Thursday, September 26, SHIIP, the Seniors’ Health Insurance Information Program,will be hosting a free presentation entitled Medicare 101- New to Medicare. 

The presentation will feature topics of discussion such as Medicare supplements, Medicare Advantage plans, Medicare prescription drug plans, Medicare fraud and abuse, and long-term care insurance. 

The presentation is open to anyone new to Medicare or interested in learning more about it. The presentation will take place from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at The Meeting Place/Polk County Senior Center located at 75 Carmel Lane in Columbus.
