The Polk County High School Farm received a bit of help this summer thanks to a grant from the Polk County Community Foundation.

Garrett Pegg, a PCHS student, spent the summer working as an intern at the school farm. Pegg is an active member of the Polk County Agricultural Education and FFA program.

In his position, funded by PCCF, Pegg was responsible for caring and feeding animals and maintaining vegetable and flower gardens.
