In the second half, the Cardinals’ defensive prowess came to the forefront as Cooper Tidwell intercepted another pass, providing the impetus for the team to expand their lead with a 28-yard touchdown pass from Foster to Poore.
Foster later connected with Poore again, this time for a 36-yard strike, increasing the Cardinals’ lead to 41-20 by the midpoint of the third quarter.
The Cardinals continued their relentless push, with McClentock dashing 60 yards for a touchdown following a standout block by AJ Lindsey, extending their lead to 48-20.
AJ Lindsey later impressed with a 25-yard interception return for a touchdown, cementing the team’s victory at 54-20 with eight minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.
