• In terms of toughness, using their opponents’ combined win total last season, the Minutemen will be playing the 33rd-ranked schedule this year.
• UMass will face the 46th-ranked schedule in college football, based on its opponents’ projected win total this year (69).
• UMass’ schedule includes seven games against teams that finished over .500 in 2023 (five against teams with nine or more victories and two against squads that collected three or fewer wins).
• The Minutemen will have seven teams on their schedule this season that made a bowl game in 2023.

• The Minutemen sported the 88th-ranked offense last season (356.3 yards per game), and they were less effective on the other side of the ball, ranking 17th-worst with 427 yards allowed per game.
