GREEN CREEK—Unity in the Community of the Foothills will host a free herbal workshop about “The Magic of Witch Hazel” on Saturday, July 27, at  9:30 a.m. 

Participants will learn how to make a natural insect repellent using herbs, and this will be a make-and-take workshop. All materials will be provided completely free to attendees.

The workshop will be held in the Green Greek community next to Zion Grove AME Zion Church, 5600 Pea Ridge Road, Rutherfordton.

The “The Magic of Witch Hazel” workshop is made possible by the Dogwood Health Trust. Seating is limited.
