The Wolverines posted a team score of 178, finishing five shots behind R-S Central and three shots ahead of Chase.

Avery Harden’s 40 led Polk County, with Tourin Jackson carding a 43, Myles Menetre posting a 45 and Tanner Osborn notching a 55 to account for Polk’s team scoring.

Turner Loveland (57), Addie Buss and Piercen Edwards (58), David Duffy (60), Jacob Morgan (61), and Dalton Dotson (63) also competed for the Wolverines.

Chase’s Brock Reid earned medalist honors with a 36, with teammate Garrett Pinkerton firing a 39 to take second place. Aaron Chavez led R-S Central with a 42.

Polk County will again play on Thursday at Tryon Country Club. The match against MF7 schools will start at noon and last 18 holes.
