Polk’s hopes at reversing that trend took a serious blow on Wednesday as starting goalkeeper Maggie McCammon suffered a knee injury in practice. McCammon, who had more than 140 saves during the season, missed Thursday’s match.

Hendersonville broke onto the scoreboard with a pair of goals midway through the first half and built a 4-0 lead at intermission. The Bearcats continued to tally in the second half and have now outscored opponents 15-0 thus far in the postseason.
