Event to feature cool rides, vendors and live entertainment

 

TRYON – Looking for a fun event to enjoy this Mother’s Day weekend? This Saturday, the Old Mill Market Square at 151 Southern Mercerizing Rd. in Tryon will hold its Second Annual Car Cruise-In from 3-7 p.m. 

The Cruise-In will feature a plethora of cars and trucks of all styles and models. The public is encouraged to bring out their own cool rides for the event.

There will be musical entertainment with Jarret Forrester and the Southern Sadness, who will be performing from 3:30-6:30 p.m. Krossroads Kitchen out of Columbus will be set up to serve food, and Farmhouse Manna will be offering baked goods. There will also be a bounce house for the kids. 

There is no entry fee for cars, and vendors will be set up outside. Old Mill Market Square will be open during the event, making for a fantastic day of free family fun in Tryon. 

Located in the Southern Mercerizing Building, the Old Mill Market Square is open seven days a week and features over 75 vendor booths carrying almost every type of antique a collector could hope to find.
