Barber reaches second round of 2A West Regional

Polk County sophomore Banks Barber reached the second round of the 2A West Regional tennis tourney Friday before falling to Pine Lake Prep’s Jackson Grathwohl.
Competing in the regional at Gardner-Webb University, Barber opened play with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Shelby’s Heath Haskin.
Barber ends his season with a 10-4 record in singles play.
