Throughout his career, he always took great pride in creating pizza that brought joy to his customers, while his infectious personality made strangers feel loved and cared about. It is his cheerful spirit and laughter that we are all going to miss more than anything. He loved sports and his love for them manifested in different ways, such as coaching youth sports, initiating a disc golf league, hiking with his family, or cheering on the gamecocks.

Anthony lived life to the fullest and loved people with all his heart. He could light up every room, but at the same time, make everyone in it feel important. To know him was to love him.

Surviving are: his wife, Emily McGee Pereira; one son, Cole Pereira; one daughter, Hadley Pereira; stepmom, Brenda Pereira; stepdad, Bob Capozzi; three brothers, Zane Capozzi, Joey Pereira, Charles Lee Pereira; and two sisters, Ashton Capozzi, Cameron Capozzi. He will also be greatly missed by Marvin and Kay Greene.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2023, in the McFarland Funeral Chapel. While he was taken from us far too soon, Anthony would want us to honor his life celebrating his legacy of love.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral chapel.
