After several months of work, a local sculptor, Barney Eiserloh, has completed and installed a large metal butterfly on a rock to enhance and honor the native garden planted in front of The Congregational Church UCC in Tryon.

By planting native plants, the church is contributing to butterflies and other natural creatures and ultimately the harmonious, original plan for nature and nurture in the Foothills area. Without native plants, ecosystems are threatened. The church celebrates the perfect wisdom of the creator, with a big thank you to Barney.
