The Tryon Country Club Men’s Golf Association played a 2 Man Stroke Play event on Monday, April 10. There were 30 players participating, and they had closest to the pin contests on both par 3’s. The winners were as follows:

 

1st place – Ed Weatherby & John  Lyons – 68

 

2nd place – Tom Bolling & Donnie Carruth – 73

 

3rd place – Doug Gelbert & Jim Diggs – 75

 

4th place – Mike Axelrod & (BP) John Lyons – 75

 

5th place – Keith Beaver & Bill McCall – 76

 

Closest to the pin on #3 – Rody Dayvault – 10’ 6”

 

Closest to the pin on #8 – Keith Beaver – 5’
