The Saluda Historic Depot and Museum has been awarded a Polk County Community Foundation Grant to fund the “Sharing our History” project. 

 

It was announced on March 30 that the Museum will receive $16,500 for improvements to the Saluda Historic Depot Museum’s building and operations. Included In the improvements are adding two new HVAC units, installing a manual generator transfer switch and providing a steel storage shed.  

 

The Saluda Historic Depot and Museum’s board members are very grateful to the PCCF for their support which will preserve and maintain the Saluda Historic Depot and Museum as a local historical destination for our area communities.

 

Please visit the Saluda Historic Depot Thursday through Saturday from 12 – 4 p.m.  and Sunday from 1 – 4 p.m. Admission is free.
