Dr. William Benson will perform with his choir, The Riverside Choral Society at Carnegie Hall in New York, N.Y. on Tuesday, April 4 at 8 p.m. The choir will be conducted by Dr. Patrick Gardner. The program will include the Beethoven Mass in C, the Brahms Alto Rhapsody and the New York Premiere of Mass: A Celebration of Love and Joy by Andrew J. Thomas. 

 

Dr. Benson is the Grandson of Hazel Gantt and the late Mike Gantt of Columbus, and the late Mr. and Mrs. O’Neal Benson of Tryon. Dr. Benson’s parents, Ken and Dawn Benson will attend the performance in New York.
