CBL will be offering two other dates in October.

CBL State Savings Bank is committed to security and to the community. This is one reason that they are proud to offer the four free Shred Day events each year.

CBL encourages sustainability as it disposes of sensitive documents through securely shredding and then recycling the paper into everyday-use items such as toilet paper (just to give one example). CBL values its security commitment, and its ability to work towards taking care of our environment at the same time.

Servicing an average of 100+ cars at each local event, the CBL Shred Day continues to be one of its most requested events. The bank not only offers complimentary disposal of personal documents, but we also collect canned goods and dry food items for local charities.

“Shred Day is one of the many ways we give back to our community while both promoting security and making it simple to offer peace of mind,” said CBL CEO & President Jennifer T. Jones. “And it always makes our day to meet new people and to talk with our customers.”

CBL State Savings Bank has been serving the mortgage lending and savings needs of Greer and the surrounding communities since 1907. For more information, visit www.CBLBankLocal.com.
