Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

It’s getting close to opening night for Tryon Little Theater’s “State Fair,” and just Monday, the whole kit and kaboodle were moved to the Tryon Fine Arts Center to prepare for the big night.  Sets, costumes, and props have their new spaces,  and actors, musicians and stage crew are settling into their new home for the duration of the show.

The Frake family, Abel and Melissa, and their grown children Margy and Wayne look forward to the Iowa State Fair every year. Their main goal is to win ribbons – for Abel’s prize hog, and Melissa’s pickles and mincemeat.  But this year, life proves to be much more interesting for the two youngsters.
