Equestrians interested in learning more about eventing will have an opportunity to do so at an upcoming eventing clinic at Tryon International Equestrian Center.

Join TIEC in the indoor arena for 2-hour sessions, on March 13 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., where groups of six or fewer riders will be formed based on riding level and clinic goals. This may include flat work, show jumping, and XC jumps placed in the indoor arena.

Phillip Dutton is a seven-time Olympian, a seven-time competitor at the World Equestrian Games, and a medalist at many of these competitions. Dutton offers an excellent clinic that can meet the needs of all levels of riders.

TIEC has also planned a dinner with Dutton following the clinic. This will be an opportunity to hear from him informally, see some of his medals, and have a great dinner at TIEC’s restaurant, Campagna Italian Cuisine. Ticket information will be announced shortly.

Entries before March 1 will be $275, and $300 thereafter. A fee of $75 per stall includes a tack room with 1-night stabling, if needed. There is also a $50 auditor fee. A $150 non-refundable deposit is required.

For registration, payment or more information, contact Kaitlyn Kubiak at (910) 691-1225 or Beth Blackwell at (406) 596-0340

The eventing clinic is presented by Tryon Riding & Hunt Club and Homeward Hounds, and all proceeds benefit Homeward Hounds.
