COLUMBUS–The Polk County Historical Association Board of Directors is pleased to announce its program topic for the month of February. This month’s presentation will be on growing up in the Sunny View community. The conversation will be led by Elna Owens on February 14 at 2 p.m., at the Polk County Historical Museum.

The program will be arranged like past presentations on similar historical topics. A panel of citizens will talk about growing up in the Sunny View area in the 1930s. One eye-opening discussion will be on how Sunny View was before and after the arrival of electricity

“We are excited about the opportunity to share what Sunny View was like several decades ago,” said Becky Hudson, PCHA Vice President. “Similar programs sponsored in the recent past were a couple of our most popular monthly presentations.”
