Polk County’s girls rolled Friday to a 56-10 victory over Chase in a Mountain Foothills 7 Conference basketball matchup at Polk.

The Wolverines honored their lone senior, Kayleigh Wilson, prior to the game. Polk then made certain Wilson’s final regular-season home game would be a memorable one.

Tied at 5-5 midway through the first quarter, Polk County scored the next 33 points, shutting out Chase for almost two full quarters. The Trojans finally tallied with 5:27 left in the third period, at which time Polk led 38-5.
