Columbus Fire Department holds annual award banquet

COLUMBUS- On Saturday, January 21, Columbus Fire Department held its annual award banquet. The banquet was held at the Town of Columbus Fire Department.

Numerous awards were presented to firefighters for their dedicated work of the 2022 fiscal year.

Michael “Cowboy” Herman received the Paid Officer of the Year Award and Tony Priester received the Volunteer Officer of the Year Award, while Martin Warriner received the Volunteer of the Year Award.

Luke Howell received the Most Calls Ran by Paid Staff Award and Patrick Damato Sr. received the Most Calls Ran by a Volunteer Award.

Dylan Priester and Will Craine received the Most Calls Ran by Shift Award.  

Gary Trull received the Most Training Hours by Paid Staff Award and Tony Priester received the Most Training Hours by a Volunteer Award.

Michelle Westbrook and Martin Warriner received the Chiefs Award and Dan Starbird received the Robert Ormand Award.
