TRYON–At the beginning of the year, Tristin Hyder, owner of Haven Salon and Boutique, relocated her business from its location on Lynn Rd. to downtown Tryon. They are now located at 120 N. Trade St.

Hyder and her fellow stylists – Emma Phipps, Maggie Grigg, and Whitney Hakala – offer cuts, colors, extensions, hair-smoothing treatments and men’s cuts. An appointment is always preferred, but they do accept walk-ins.

“We love it here in our new location. Everyone has been so welcoming, and we’ve been overwhelmed by the friendliness,” Hyder says of Tryon. “There is a natural beauty to Tryon. We’ve got a great view.”

Pictures of Reba McEntire, Patsy Cline and Dolly Parton adorn the walls of the salon, and the sleek new space boasts high-quality features, including four brand-new stylists’ chairs.

The salon features Aluram hair care products, an all-natural hair care line. They also have plans to bring in an additional line made in North Carolina.

In the back of their new space, you’ll also find an array of items offered by Rylee Woods Design, including jewelry, a stylish variety of shoes, cross-body and traditional purses, and clothing.

Haven Salon and Boutique is open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. For an appointment, call (864) 529-2505 or find them on Facebook at Hair by Tristin Hyder.
