The Kiwanis Club of Tryon’s speaker on January 11 was Julie Moore, who gave an update about the Pacolet Junior Appalachian Musicians (PacJAM) program. 

 

PacJAM provides an opportunity for area youth and adults to experience community through the joy of participating in traditional music. Its winter program will run every Wednesday from January 18 – March 22 from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. for Beginner & Intermediate students, and 4 to 6 p.m. for advanced students.
