Green Creek Fire Rescue hold yearly banquet, multiple firefighters receive awards

GREEN CREEK– On Saturday, January 14, Green Creek Fire Rescue held their yearly banquet at Mario’s Restaurant in Forest City.

 

Numerous firefighters and first responders received awards for their dedicated work at Green Creek Fire Rescue.

Assistant Chief Kenny Yoder received the First Responder of the Year Award.

 

Chief Jeremy Gregg received the 25 Years of Service award and the Station 3 Dedication Award, and Assistant Chief Kenny Yoder received the First Responder of the Year Award.

 

Crystal Cordell received the 10 Years of Service and Officer of the Year Awards, and Kyle Crawford received the 5 Years of Service and Firefighter of the Year Awards. 

 

Crystal Cordell received the Officer of the Year Award.

 

Tim Cordell received the Most Answered Calls Award, Max Peck received the Most Improved Award and Lisa Culberson received the 15 Years of Service Award.

 

Mike Weber, Sue Webster, and Chris Crawford all received the 5 Years of Service Award.

 

“We are extremely proud of our selfless volunteers that put their lives on hold to help their neighbors and citizens,” members of Green Creek Fire Rescue stated after receiving their awards. 

 

Green Creek Fire Rescue thanks the Shiloh-Danieltown-Oakland Fire Department for covering Green Creek District while they held their banquet.
