On Friday, December 16, Saluda Fire and Rescue held its Annual Christmas Dinner and presented awards for Firefighter, EMT, and Officer of the Year. 

Brian Davis was named Firefighter of the Year at the event. Vance Gordon was named Officer of the Year, and Garret Cairnes was named EMT of the Year. Logan Johnson was recognized for Most Calls Ran.

Additionally, the Chief’s Award was presented to Nick Edwards. 

Dalton Putnam, Matthew Johnson, and Garrett Cairnes received the 5-Year Service Award, and the 10-Year Service Award was presented to Will Justice and Dylan Ward. 

This has been a record year for calls to Saluda Fire and Rescue and its members have logged thousands of training hours.
