Campobello– Hewitt E. (Buck) Lovelace, III, age 76, of Tryon passed away on December 17, 2022, after a sudden illness.  He was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, the son of the late Hewitt E. and Madeline Scates Lovelace.

Buck served in the Army for 11 years as a helicopter pilot from 1967 to 1978.

He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Linda Feddema Lovelace; one son Hewitt E. Lovelace IV (Ashley); two daughters Renee P. Sanders (Bill) and Grace M. Lovelace; two sisters Stephanie Killworth, and Michelle Lovelace (Lloyd); and three grandchildren Ryder Sanders, Bella Robinson, and Finn Robinson; and many nieces and nephews.

At Buck’s request, there will be no memorial service at this time.
