Tryon– Mildred Hunnicutt Trippe, 92 passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at White Oak of Tryon.

Mildred was the daughter of the late Willie and Minnie Hunnicutt.  She was a member of Columbus Baptist Church in Columbus, NC.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, two sisters, and a daughter-in-law.

Surviving is her daughter, Bobbie Wilson (Bruce); a son, Michael Ward; three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank the staff of White Oak of Tryon and Hospice of the Carolina Foothills for the compassion and care they provided.

The family will hold a private service.
