Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Thanks to your generosity, Polk County Senior Services served over 40,000 meals to Polk County seniors last year. With your help, they were able to provide security, comfort, dignity, and most of all – the knowledge that someone cares.

While they have the momentum, they would like to call upon you once again for support. They continue to seek out new opportunities to improve the center and invite new members. For Polk County Senior Services to be successful in meeting the needs of our community, they need your help.

Today, the Meeting Place embarks on its Year-End Campaign. Its goal is to raise funds to assist with its expanding Meals on Wheels program and to continue growing the programs offered at the center, but it can’t do it alone.

Every donation helps nourish the mind, body and soul of our senior neighbors, one meal at a time. If you would like to be a part of these efforts to support our community members, Polk County Senior Services kindly asks you to take a moment to send a donation to the Polk County Council on Aging, so that they can continue the valuable work they’ve begun. Remember, every penny counts, and no amount is too small.

Checks can be made out to: Polk County Council on Aging, The Meeting Place Senior Center, 75 Carmel Lane, Columbus, NC, 28722.
