On Sunday, December 18, the 3rd Annual Burgundy Lane Holiday Parade will take place in the Green Creek community.

Organizers Carrie Knox and Pat Woods invite folks in the area to come out and watch the parade. It is a great time to enjoy the spirit of the holidays, and see decorated tractors, ATVs, lawnmowers, old cars, 4-wheelers, and many other vehicles.

Participants will meet up at the end of Day Drive at 1 p.m., and the parade itself will take place on Burgundy Lane, Day Drive and Wild Turkey Lane, beginning at about 1:30 p.m. Paradegoers can park alongside the parade route to watch the parade.

“We have so much fun with this each year,” says Carrie. “We’d love to have even more folks attend and watch the parade this time around.”

Burgundy Lane is located off Landrum Road in Green Creek, near the entrance to the Derbyshire subdivision. For more information, call Carrie Knox at (512) 581-1391.
