The 2022-23 Basketball season tipped off for Landrum’s girls and boys varsity teams last week, with both teams looking to build on successful 21-22 seasons.

The Landrum varsity girls, coached by Jared St. Charles, are coming off a strong 21-22 season, where they finished 21-8 (8-2), winning AA Region 2 and making it all the way to the Upstate Championship game before falling to Christ Church with a final score of 54-39.

The Lady Cardinals are led by junior center Savannah Brown, a Region Player of the Year favorite, who averaged 11 points per game and 4.5 rebounds per game during the last campaign. Brown’s already off to a fast start, having recorded double-doubles in all three of Landrum’s early games this season.
