Kindergarten and first-grade classes at Saluda Elementary School recently enjoyed a field trip to Strawberry Hill USA in Chesnee, S.C.

 

The field trip’s educational focus was on farming, irrigation, and the life cycle of pumpkins. Students also enjoyed a hayride, petting zoo, climbing a giant pile of hay, and sliding down the enormous spider-inspired slides.

 

Each student picked out a pumpkin to take home.
