The annual Celebrate Nature at FENCE Festival is scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 2 from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. FENCE is excited to be able to offer this great community event at no cost to attend. They hope the event is able to bring together the community, families, and friends to enjoy good music, free food, nature, live animal encounters, face painting, and much more! This year’s festival will feature music from Chris Wayne and Angela Easterling.

Chris Wayne is a singer-songwriter from Greenville, SC playing the music of 1950s Americana. Chris plays originals along with covers of Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, and Little Richard to name a few. His originals reflect blended influences of Rock, Swing, Country, Delta Blues, and New Orleans R&B.

Duo Angela Easterling and Brandon Turner are not quite country, not quite folk, but altogether unique and engaging.

Angela Easterling brandishes her songwriting chops with rootsy, refreshing, homespun tunes. Her duo partner, Brandon Turner, masters many complex styles, with instrumentation that fleshes out the stories in Angela’s songs, and adds some rocking fun and harmony. Their act is not quite country, not quite folk, but altogether unique and engaging.

This event is made possible by the Kirby Endowment at Polk County Community Foundation. FENCE is located at 3381 Hunting Country Road in Tryon, North Carolina.
